About this tool

About Text to Handwriting Generator

Text to Handwriting Generator draws your typed text on a paper-style page using handwriting-style fonts. You control the ink colour, font size, line height, page size, paper style, margins and alignment, with a live preview, then download the pages as PNG images or a PDF. All fonts are stored on this site and everything is rendered in your browser.

A handwritten look can make notes, cards, mock-ups and study material feel more personal than plain type. This tool produces that look quickly and lets you adjust the result. It uses fonts that imitate handwriting — it does not reproduce anyone’s real handwriting.

Best practices

Tips for best results

  • Use 16–22 pt text with a line height of about 1.5–1.8× for a natural notebook look.
  • On ruled paper, keep the default spacing so the text sits on the lines.
  • Choose Kalam for Devanagari and Caveat for Cyrillic text.
  • Check the message area for characters the font can’t draw before downloading.
  • Do not present the result as genuine handwriting where that matters, such as signatures or handwritten assignments.

All four fonts cover English and Western European letters. Caveat also covers Cyrillic, and Kalam covers Devanagari (Hindi, Marathi and more). The tool tells you if any character is missing from the selected font.
They are drawn with a fallback system font so nothing disappears, and a message lists exactly which characters were affected. Emoji are not part of these fonts.
