Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using Toolisco (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
What the Service provides
Toolisco offers free, browser-based tools for encoding and decoding Base64 data, along with related guides and reference material. The tools run in your browser; we do not receive or store the files or text you process.
Acceptable use
You agree to use the Service lawfully and responsibly. You must not:
- Use the Service to process content you do not have the right to use, or that is unlawful or infringing.
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure.
- Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or the rights of others.
Your responsibilities
Because the tools run in your browser and process data locally, you are responsible for the content you choose to process and for keeping your own copies of anything important. You should ensure you have the rights to any files or text you use, verify that output meets your needs before relying on it, and use a supported, up-to-date browser for the best results. You are also responsible for the security of the device and network you use to access the Service.
No warranty
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that output will be suitable for every use case. You are responsible for verifying results before relying on them.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Toolisco and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
Intellectual property
The Service’s design, code, branding, and written content are owned by Toolisco or its licensors and are protected by applicable law. The data you process with the tools remains entirely yours; we claim no rights to it.
Third-party services and links
The Service may include links to third-party websites or rely on third-party providers (such as hosting, analytics, or advertising). We are not responsible for the content or practices of third parties, which are governed by their own terms.
Changes to the Service and terms
We may modify or discontinue parts of the Service at any time, and we may update these terms. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. Because no account is required, there is nothing to cancel. We may suspend or restrict access to the Service — for example, to protect its security or integrity, or where use breaches these terms — without prior notice where reasonable. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable at our principal place of operation, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in these terms limits any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have under the laws of your country of residence.
General
If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
