About Instagram Post Maker
Instagram Post Maker is a small design editor for feed posts. Choose square (1080 × 1080), portrait (1080 × 1350), landscape (1080 × 566) or a custom size, build a background from a colour, a two-colour gradient or your own photo, then add up to three text layers and a logo. The finished design downloads as a PNG or JPG at exactly the size shown.
A post that is already the right shape looks sharp and is not unexpectedly cropped. Designing it locally keeps your photos private and avoids watermarks, accounts or uploads.
Step by step
- Choose a post size, or pick Custom size and apply a width and height from 320 to 4,096 pixels.
- Set the background: a solid colour, a gradient, or upload a PNG, JPG or WebP photo.
- Add up to three text layers and style each one.
- Optionally upload a logo or sticker, then drag and resize it.
- Keep key content inside the safe-margin guide.
- Download a PNG or JPG and check the size shown.
What it offers
- Square, portrait, landscape and custom canvas sizes
- Solid, gradient or photo backgrounds with Cover, Contain and Stretch
- Zoom and drag to position the background photo
- Up to three text layers with font, size, colour, weight, alignment, opacity, outline and shadow
- Logo or sticker layer that can be dragged and resized
- Preview-only safe-margin guide that is never exported
Tips for best results
- Use a large, bold font size so text stays readable on a phone.
- Add an outline or shadow when text sits on a busy photo.
- Start from a photo at least as large as the canvas to keep it sharp.
- Choose JPG for photo-heavy posts and PNG for flat colours and text.
