About Batch Image Watermark

Batch Image Watermark adds the same text or logo watermark to many images at once. Text watermarks support size, colour, opacity, rotation, position, margin and an optional tiled pattern; image watermarks support PNG, JPG or WebP logos with opacity, scale, rotation, position and margin. A live preview shows the exact result on any image in the batch before you process them all.

Marking photos with your name or logo helps show ownership and discourages casual reuse when sharing portfolios, product photos or social posts. Doing a whole batch at once saves time and keeps every image consistent. A visible watermark is a deterrent, not security, and it can be removed by someone determined.

Tips for best results

  • Use a semi-transparent watermark (30–60% opacity) so the photo stays the focus.
  • Place single marks where they are hard to crop out, or use tiling for stronger deterrence.
  • Use a PNG logo with a transparent background for the cleanest look.
  • Preview a few different images in the batch, especially very light or dark ones.
  • Keep unwatermarked originals somewhere safe.

FAQ

Common questions

Only as a visible label. A watermark discourages casual reuse and shows ownership, but it is not security: it can be cropped, painted out or removed with editing tools.
Batches often mix image sizes. Text size and margins are a percentage of each image’s shorter side, and logo size is a percentage of its width, so the watermark looks the same on a small thumbnail and a large photo.
Yes. Switch to Image watermark and choose a PNG, JPG or WebP file. PNG or WebP with a transparent background gives the cleanest result. Opacity, scale, rotation, position and margin can all be adjusted.
It repeats the text watermark across the whole image in staggered rows at the chosen angle, which is harder to crop out than a single mark. Position and margin don’t apply when tiling.
Yes. The preview draws the same watermark on a scaled copy of the selected image using the same relative sizes, so the full-size output matches it.
Images are re-encoded at the quality you choose (92% by default for JPG and WebP; PNG is lossless). Metadata such as EXIF is not copied to the new files, and EXIF rotation is applied to the pixels so photos stay the right way up.
No. Watermarking runs on a canvas in your browser; no image is sent to a server or third-party service.
